Designed by Harriet Spear while at Meeker & Associates. Signage for Yosemite National Park was designed as as a prototype project for the development of a comprehensive Signage System for America's National Parks. The system includes standards for park identification, maps, wayfinding, interpretive exhibits, regulatory and safety signage. The work supported visitor wayfinding and orientation. The integration of environmental interpretation is intended to enhance visitor awareness and parkwide stewardship.
